The spring-loaded flip top enables the feeder to be opened and closed with the push of a button so you can leave the feeder hanging for easy filling. Secure the easy-to-close top with one hand. Designed to be used with our #100 3-N-1 Bird Seed Super Tote which features a tapered pour spout that easily fills feeders with no spillage or waste.

Hope ur as strong as this feeder
I am a senior lady living alone...it was virtually impossible for me to refill this thing...it was screwed in SO tightly that I even forget how i fid change it. As a retired reading teacher, I have NO problem with directions but there simply was not enough information to solve what should be an easy fix. Not the cheapest tool in the shed either. It's quite substantially made. I just need a lumberjack (;) to work it for me.
