Not expensive, works fine

I actually have several of these. They are sturdy, easy to clean, and don't cost $25. They make good sifters for dry ingredients, too. I own one huge strainer for pots of soup, but I use these 8" ones much more often for smaller jobs. They're large enough to be useful without taking up very much cabinet space (I store them stacked).

This lightweight stainless steel strainer could be used for almost anything which needs to be strained into a six inch bowl or pitcher. It probably should not be used to strain anything much hotter than room temperature so as not to damage the plastic frame.

Durable and strong

I needed a dependable strainer for my authentic Italian sauce as I push tomatoes through the sieve and therefore put a lot of weight into it. This did not let me down. If you need a good strainer, this will make your day!!
