Chia

I love the fact I love chia. Many people don't like chia and this is sad because chia is a superfood. It's coming as a complete package, full of benefits, is a complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids, it has 34g of fiber, 8g of net carbohydrates, 18g of Omega-3 per 100g, it also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3 as well as calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc. Incredibly, chia has more Omega-3 than flax and salmon, has 5 times more calcium than milk, 3 times more iron than spinach, 3 times more antioxidants than blueberries. 2 times more potassium than bananas. With frequent consumption it also has laxative properties. I appreciate this brand of chia and I use it in few recipes but my favourite is chia pudding made with homemade almonds milk, some dates and sometimes I add fruits on the top.

Healthy and good value

High quality product with organic white chia seed as the only ingredient. Chia seeds are a stable part of my diet and I typically use them in my daily serving of breakfast muesli. Chia seeds have many benefits; they help reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, reduce inflammation in the body and support digestive health. The size of the bag (340 grams) is good and usually lasts up to 2 months for me.

Excellent!

Every day, I add two tablespoons of chia seeds to my rolled oats, being sure to fully toast them. Soups, milkshakes, and smoothies can all benefit from the addition of two tablespoons of chia seeds.
