I bought this to seal tyvek to my attic floor. It works great. FYI, I made the mistake of thinking they were very expensive for normal 12oz size tubes. When they arrived, I realized that these are large 28oz tubes. So I therefore bought more than was needed.

Helped with sound and temperature

I sealed up the windows on my 100 year old home due to issues with temperature control and the sound produced by my neighbors dog barking at all hours. This was amazingly helpful! It holds well and worked both inside and outside. I definitely recommend wearing gloves. Note that it requires a larger size caulk gun vs the standard. For this price I don't think you can beat this if you need both temp and sound control.

If you're building a sub woofer box this is definitely the stuff to use to seal the cracks and seems. Because having all that base you need something that is going to take all the basement
