Smashing Away

I like this book. It's an easy read and it gets right to the point of what you need to do. This book shows you how you should be eating on a regular. For life. Phase 1 is hard, but if you can find ways to stick to it and make it through detox (Phase 1, for 9 days) you will be very successful. I'm on day 3 of the smash and already down 2lbs. Although he tells you not to get on the scale until day 10...I just couldn't help it. You have nothing but fat to lose so, get to smashing. :)

Truly is "The Last Diet You'll Ever Need"

32 year old mother of 3 and I write this review 20 lbs lighter since starting this diet around June 18, 2007. If you are ready to make a change for the better in your life you NEED to get this book and follow the plan. It is an easy read. It is the only "diet" that I have been on that does not feel like a diet. This is about LIFESTYLE change. This book retrains you exactly how to eat. I would even hesitate to call this a diet. Don't get me wrong, the first 9 days are tough. It takes a lot of commitment. However, if you can get through those first days, anything is possible and it WILL change your habits for LIFE. There are so many people out there who are living and healthy testaments that this diet works.

The Truth

This is a great weight loss book. The first week in the detox phase I lost 12 lbs. I was so surprised. I fell off the diet because it is kind of hard to train yourself to eat right and exercise but Im going to go back to the book and by thanksgiving hopefully I will be my goal weight, especially if I stick to the the program in this book.
