Nice Traditional Swivel Design

Nice faucet and looks to be higher in quality over the same style Delta it replaced even though a new Delta was the same price. Slightly disappointed the faucet anchored using only the center hole rather than double anchoring with end holes one and three. This design flaw, IMO, allows the faucet base to swivel if only moderate pressure is applied. That's the only thing I would change if I were redesigning it. The Moen bath faucet is original to this 60 year-old house so I think Moen will be around for a while if I ever need parts.

Design and operation were very well.

The installation was simple; however, the escutcheon plate has a 1/16" gap (loose) to the sink when mounted. My concern is that this may cause water to leak through under fixture into the cabinet. I do have a leak, but it seems to be from another point - possibly the spray tubing.

nice faucet, but some flaws

The black plate was smooth on the bottom side. It did not have flanges that fit in the two side sink holes. I had to use plumber's putty. Hopefully this will keep it from twisting on the sink. The one I replaced was a Moen and it had the flanges. I could not use it for the new one as the shape was different. the shape was different.
