I ordered these hooks to use on a freezer door handle and oven handle. The first is to hold a scoop for retrieving ice from a bin (discouraging grabbing them by hand), and the second is for hanging special pot holders in a safer and more accessible place. I wanted the plastic as it is lighter and less likely than metal hooks to scratch the surfaces of the appliances. I'm very pleased with the size and shape of the hooks. It is unfortunate that we must often accept poorly made/packaged/shipped items, as standards appear to have lowered over the past few decades. So I want to take this opportunity to state that I was super pleased with the package sent to to me. The multiple bags of hooks were placed together inside another bag, then a foam wrapping carefully taped around it prior to it being placed inside the mailing bag. This is the type care I give to wrapping things for shipping, and I was delighted to see that occasionally someone else also cares about the shipped items' safety and the recipients' pleasure. It is very different from almost every shipment I've received from any company in many months, and it was actually my positive reaction to the packaging that brought me here to leave this review!
