Rosewill 750W 80+ Bronze Power Supply

Besides having a rebate offer when I purchased it and on sale at the same time as one reason for choosing this power supply, looking at my power requirement for my current needs and possible for some future expansion. The 750w Rosewill meets my need. It is not to large so the power supply is running inefficiently and not to small so it is almost running at full load all the time. I can't really say any negative experience I have with it, since I only had it for a few days and it powers on and everything seems to be working. Also according to HWMonitor, running my computer at full load, while stress testing and checking on temperatures of various components all the voltages are stable and the power supply fan still remains on the quiet side. Gives me confidence when I need to add stuff or upgrade in the future. Power supply is currently supporting an i7-4790K, Nvidia GTX 760 and 3 case fans + 1 CPU fan + 3 various USB devices connected to it. Pro: Semi modular Quiet Comes with plenty of connectors and cables Small zip ties included Cable lengths about the right size Con:Had to cut the bottom of the box for rebate, wish it was on the side which is double ply cardboard so it won't leave a hole for things to fall out of.

Semi modular power supplies are really the way to go. This power supply has excellent cable management and the semi modular aspect of it lowers the cost. This unit does produce a small amount of coil whine but nothing too noticeable or worthy of taking an egg off for. It came with more than enough cables for my basic build (SSD, HDD, DVD, 3 fans, one GPU) My build doesn't require the power output of this unit but I might add a GPU later on. So far this is a great power supply. Pro: Semi modular Quiet Lots of power Lots of cables Con:Small amount of coil whine Cables not sleeved (not expected at this price range anyway though)
