Very good quality
Good quallity, great price
It's hard to beat the reliability and simplicity of a good balance beam scale. This scale is dependable and has repeatable results. I don't reload every day and my reloading area has some temperature variation. With this scale I don't have to worry about batteries or allowing my scale to "warm-up" before I use it. The all metal construction ensures I will be able to use the scale for decades to come.
M500, built well and easy to use
My Lee scale worked well for the price but the RCBS is so much better. Much easier to use and far more durable. The scale is quicker and easier to zero and the separate pan is much quicker and easier than the Lee type pan. The scale also reads quicker than the Lee as it does not bounce around as much. The main reason why I got it was because I was able to accidentally move my Lee scale while measuring and was worried that I wouldn't notice it which could cause an over or under charge. The RCBS scale arm is serrated and doesn't rely solely on friction to hold the scale in place. You would have to knock the scale over to accidentally adjust the scale.
