I bought it to automate my porch light and keep it on at night. The 5pm - 12am setting is perfect. It's too hard to install, but probably not the best task for a complete newbie. Make sure not to reverse the load and line wires or else the switch won't turn on. Make sure to use a wire nut connector to connect the neutral white wire to the others in the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a way to switch my lights/computer/tv/alexa on and off without having to move a muscle and I found the myTouchSmart digital timer. Easy to read the panel and to understand how to work it. In addition, it's pretty easy to install it, which is a huge plus. Once installed, set up was pretty simple and now I have all my smart home tech hooked up and I don't have to worry about falling asleep watching tv, leaving it on and all the lights. It's all taken care of for me!
