Best fit, best thickness, best look. I love skating in these. My advice though for a true slim fit is to buy them maybe 1” bigger than your bodies actual waist measurement, and 2” longer in length than normal pants. Most pants work for me at a 32” length, but these at 32” really become high waters when I push or sit down. So I order 34” length and 31” waist. After one washing and a couple of good high heat drying cycles these have the a solute perfect snugness and length to skate in. The only way they could top these is if they made an 894 tapered leg version. PLEASE DICKIES! PLEASE!!

I cannot say enough good things about these pants. I love the material... not too thick, not too thin, and I really like the button fly. I also love how they sit low on my waist without the crotch area hanging too low. I have bought 7 pair so far and may get a few more because as usually happens with dickies, they'll probably stop making them. These should become a permanent product! If there is a downside, it's that they are about 50% more than other dickies pants, and I don't really see why. But hey, they're still very affordable compared to other brands, and that's why I'll wear dickies for life. Also, as a request, bring back the Detroit 874's!
