Great tea
I selected the Choice Organics Grapefruit Honeybush herbal tea because I researched its history. It is caffeine-free and it has centuries of medicinal use by other civilizations and is indigenous to South Africa. It is similar to rooibos tea because they come from the same plant family. It has a unique honey-like scent but it is not sweet. I found that I like to mix my teas and I paired this with my Sweet Dreams tea bags. I steep them together and I enjoy the new taste of both teas combined. I would recommend this tea to try since it offers antioxidants as a health benefit.
My New Favorite
I am a serious herbal tea drinker. I have a refreshment stand in my bedroom set up with an electric kettle and a variety of my most favorite flavors from my favorite brands. Hot tea signals me to relax and calm down for bedtime and I drink herbal tea most days. So when I saw this brand that I had not seen before I was so excited to try it, and the flavors they offer are a must taste. My first impression, when I received the box, was that I would be drinking a product that was the same standard of tea product that I am accustomed to drinking. That it is organic is a plus and I always drink caffeine free herbal tea. The flavor I chose was the Grapefruit Honeybush flavor. It smelled amazing when I opened the sealed pouch and I just couldn't wait to drink it. I use a combination of raw sugar and local honey and the tea is absolutely delicious. I did notice a slight bitter aftertaste but most people would not likely notice it as my palate is sensitive to bitterness. Though I don't like bitter aftertastes, this tea is so good I just ignored it and enjoyed my new love. I got a lot of it and I will be enjoying it for a long time, and I look forward to trying the other tempting flavors.
Refreshing
I am usually a black tea drinker but decided to try this tea. It is very refreshing. It has a slight grapefruit, and floral taste which is different than black tea. It is organic and caffeine free, non-GMO, Kosher Certified, Vegan and Gluten Free certified. The company use natural fiber and compostable tea bags. They also pack the tea bags in boxes made of recycled paper. I can hardly wait until it gets warmer so I can try it iced.
