Essie 1147 Birthday Suit Nail Lacquer, .46 fl oz

So when I first saw the retro revival collection, starry starry night first caught my eye, but then on a whim, I decided to pick up birthday suit with it. And it has quickly become one of my absolute favorite essie polishes. It is a sheer nude, and you will not get it to be completely opaque. But this polish makes my nails look clean and polished. It does not bring so much attention to your nails, but when noticed, it definitely will give a good impression. The formula is thin, so more thin coats is definitely better than two thick ones. I've found that three coats gives it a good color, and also makes it smooth and not patchy. Thick coats will pool, and thin coats give you more control over the polish. Highly highly recommend. I will definitely be stocking up on this so I can have one or two back-up bottles!
