Great HDD drive, lots of space for a good value

Great hard drive, especially for the price. My machine has an M.2 SSD for the Windows boot drive, standard SSD for stuff I want to load quick, and now this 4TB (upgraded from the previous 1TB) magnetic drive for pictures, music, videos - mass storage where speed of the drive doesn't matter much. Very easy to install - just a couple of plugs. It was not formatted, which isn't a big deal...but it does mean it won't immediately show up in "This PC" or Windows Explorer. So, just hit the Windows key, and type "Create and format," and it'll bring up the Windows application that creates and formats hard drive partitions. I went with NTFS with all the space in a single partition, but you can do whatever works best for you. All in all, a great drive at a great price. The only problem was with the slow shipping, but you can't blame Walmart or Western Digital for Fedex never delivering a package on time. Would recommend this drive - though this review will probably age poorly, and within a year or two 4TB will seem ridiculously small... but for now, great drive, get it today!

Well after putting my order in I received my hard drive within just 2 to 3 days. Luckily for me I live in Southern California and it only had to come about a half an hour away. But on that note once I received it popped it into my all-in-one HP computer put the new operating system in now it works flawlessly. It's been a couple of weeks now and I've had no issues. I love this computer it was only a couple years old so was worth keeping. So if you're thinking about purchasing a hard drive go ahead you should have no problems. Also the hard drive when it arrived came packaged very well to the point where I could see it wasn't going to be damaged in shipping. Hopefully this review helps somebody out there.
