Having produced three books of humorous verse with a distinctively Irish theme, I thought it high time to write a collection of equally bizarre ballads inspired by the eccentricities of our neighbours in England, Scotland and Wales, whilst not forgetting our more distant neighbour, the USA. Like my earlier collections of humorous poetry, this book lends itself to private and public reading and is suitable for adults and children.
