ACDelco Professional 252-516 Water Pump Kit Fits select: 1998-2003 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS, 1996-1999 FORD MUSTANG

This is a quality water pump at a fair price the problem is Walmarts parts catalog it claims that this is a good fit for the 2000 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, it isn't, every Police Interceptor I have ever worked on takes the long housing pump and this is a short, I was ASE master certified and had Chrysler and Ford Blue oval certifications I know the difference between the 2 pumps and Police Interceptors and standard Crown Victoria's and as I said earlier every Police Interceptor I have worked on takes the long housing pump plus I personally have owned 3 different Police Interceptors from 2000 to 2002 and all take the long pump. Fortunately Walmarts customer service is very good and I can return it to my local Walmart with out any problems, I wish they would fix there catalog though it even says that the Motorcraft 820s is the wrong oil filter for these vehicles , I worked for Ford for over 4 years and know for a fact that the Crown Victoria came from the factory with the 820s oil filter.
