good quality thick mattress pad

we have a memory foam king mattress and i have been looking for a suitable mattress pad, because our son likes to sleep on it so a mattress pad is important. we had previously gotten a waterproof one but it had a strong chemical smell and it was really hot , and i felt like i was sleeping on plastic. However, this pad is quilted, soft, and very comfortable. it almost felt like a quilted blanket. actually, when i saw the package, i thought it was a blanket. i wonder if it will get to hot during the summer,but at least for now, it's very nice. i am not expecting this to be waterproof, because it is not advertised as such, but it will still be good for protecting the mattress.

Great mattress pad

This mattress pad is wonderful, everything you could really look for. It provided great loft and support without adding heat or bunching up. We noticed the difference right away in terms of comfort and support. I did launder the pad and found it dried perfectly without the filling being redistributed or becoming uneven. it was very simple to put on the mattress as well and my normal queen sheets (not deep pocket) did fit right over the topper without any issue. After using this topper for a few nights I would definitely recommend it and I wouldn't want to be without it. It really helps to make a mattress great and to give you that extra comfort.

Good Quality Mattress Protector

This is a good quality mattress pad/protector. The top is quilted and pretty thick and padded. I got it as a mattress protector but the extra padding is a nice touch. I would recommend this as a mattress protector, not if you want a mattress topper to make your bed more comfortable. The sides are elastic all the way around. The queen fit my queen size 12" deep mattress perfectly. I think the mattress pad could fit up to a 13" deep mattress. Compared to our other Ikea mattress pad, this is better quality for about the same price. Have not washed it so can't comment on long term quality.
