way off

Not accurate at all. Nice and compact but if you need accurate measurements this will not work. I almost ordered a dress the wrong size because of this. My waist measured 22 in. Lucky for me I knew my waist hasn't been 22in for a while. I took a picture of it, a carpenter's and my sewing measurement tape and you can see how inaccurate it is.
