Very versatile

I have used this cable for 2 months now and has been great. So far I've used it tether an IDE hard disk to my desktop as an external drive, a SATA SSD drive to my desktop to test it out before installing it as my internal drive, and a spare CD/DVD reader to my laptop for occaisonal use. Much more versatile that buying a separate enclosure for each. Easy to swap around between drives, and has a power adapter to convert from Molex Power to Sata Power.

Perfect solution to recover a hard drive.

Wow - it couldn't be easier to hook up and use this device. My old Windows Vista computer got hit with a surge from lightning. I wasn't about to put any money into fixing. But I really wanted all the contents on the hard drive. This device alley me to hook up the drive as if it was simply an external drive on my new computer. It works perfectly.
