There are some prominent reviewers online who can explain it better than I can, so I won't repeat what they say except that this is one of the hands down best power supplies money can buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Perfect PSU

I've built several computers over the years. The last 2 in 5 years I've used this EVGA 750 G2 PSU. These are the best PSUs in my opinion. I'm sure the 850 watt is just as good +100 watts. but I get plenty of power with the 750 with no worries and a lot to spare. My current build contains an I7-8700K asus z390A mobo and and EVGA gtx1080. the 750 G2 is perfect for this build. I'm happy.
