I got this pump while I was waiting on a Medela to come in from my insurance company. I seem to get way more milk out of this one over my Medela PISA. I got a clogged duct when I switch from this pump to my Medela. And I really like having the time and the stimulation and expression modes on this pump. Has been working like a charm for the last 2 months. Battery pack takes 6 AA batteries, but I can only get a good two or three pumps out of a round of batteries.

I love the pump

I got this pump through my insurance and I love it. It works quickly and doesn't hurt at all. I'm not sure if the people who complained about sore nipples, used it more than once. The first 3 times I used the pump, it hurt a little but then I got used to it and I love it. PS I've tried the Medela dual electric and the Medela hand pump and they are both much much slower than the Drive.

Worst Pump I Have Ever Used

I got this pump from a medical supply store through my insurance, for my fourth child. It is the fourth pump I have used and it is the absolute worst. I have never had problems with the other pumps I have tried. This one is too strong, even on the lowest setting. It feels like it is gong to pull my nipples off and has torn the skin on my nipples multiple times, resulting in milk that looks like bloody strawberry milk. (gross!) That was on the lowest setting. Also, if you only want to do one breast, the vacuum doubles because the machine doesn't adjust to half the force for one breast, instead it puts the amount of suction from two breasts onto just one. It is impossible to pump on one breast with this comfortably.
