I purchased this to replace my old foreman grill becuse the plates wore put. This grill the plates are much better., but they are not removable. Grills great. Holds about 4 medium burgers. Easy clean up. Cooked salmon on it and it was seared on the putside an moist inside. Just the way i like it. Can sate vegetables with a little olive oil and seasoning. Highly recommend.
