Excellent Trimmer

Works great. Plenty of power--I always run it on the low power setting. Great run time with the 2.5 Ah battery. I though I might need the 4 Ah battery but that does not seem to be the case. Solid--well made. So nice to just pull trigger and have it run--no more gas and oil mixing and no more starting difficulties!

Being a non commerical yard equipment user, when my gas weeder bit the dust, I realized I needed to get with the times. EGO did not dissapoint. Worked well. (Although I thought the string broke more often than my old). I like the fact that all other tools use the same battery. Will be updating more tools in the future. No more mixing gas and oil. No more pull cord...YEAH! I highly recommend the product.

Excellent trimmer with great battery life!

This is an excellent trimmer! I have had a heavy and kind of large gas trimmer for years and just switched to this battery trimmer. I love the adjustable shaft as I am only 5'6”. I was hesitant about the lower battery amp hour rating, but I went with the reviews and couldn't be happier. My property is about 1/2 acre with many beds and a large patio and I have done about 2 full and one half 1/2 trimming on one battery charge, pretty impressive. I like the variable speed throttle and the turbo button (although I haven't really had a need for the turbo). One of the best features is the automatic reel when replacing the line - added a new 13' feet of line in about 5 minutes with smile, no cursing anymore, lol! Great tool so far - I highly recommend this trimmer!
