Key item features

  • Bridgestone Tire Company Ltd was founded in Japan in 1931. In 1988 Bridgestone purchased Firestone and accelerated their market position in North America. Combined, the company has 52 production facilities worldwide and more than 50,000 employees throughout the Americas. Bridgestone builds premium tires for passenger cars, high performance sports cars, motorcycles, light trucks, SUVs, Crossovers and Commercial Vans.
  • The Blizzak DM-V2 is Bridgestone's Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow Winter Tire developed for the drivers of pickup, crossover and Sport Utility Vehicles that are seeking a tire that provides enhanced grip in slush, snow and on ice. Designed with a focus on ice traction and braking, as well as wet road handling and hydroplaning resistance, the Blizzak DM-V2 offers wintertime driving competence.
  • The Blizzak DM-V2 radial meets the industry's sever snow service requirements and is branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF). The Blizzak DM-V2 tire uses Bridgestone's adaptive NanoPro Tech Multicell compound that features a water-loving hydrophilic coating with microscopic bite particles.
  • The Blizzak DM-V2 tire uses Bridgestone's adaptive NanoPro Tech Multicell compound that features a water-loving hydrophilic coating with microscopic bite particles. The multi-cell compound remains flexible in below-freezing conditions, wicks water off packed snow and ice while the bite particles deliver more grip and improve braking on glare ice. This particular compound is then molded into a directional tread design featuring 15% more aggressive block edges ( than the Blizzak DM-V1 it replaces) where wide lateral and circumferential grooves help channel water, slush and snow away from the contact area for added traction while 3-dimensional zigzag sipes increase the number of biting edges in the snow.

Love my Blizzaks

Been a loyal customer of Kal tire for 30 plus years. They always go above and beyond on customer service with a nice team atmosphere . Blizzaks tires are the best winter tire for B.C. as far as I'm concerned with our ever changing mountain conditions.

GREAT TIRES

THIS IS MY SECOND SET OF BLIZZAKS. MY FIRST SET WAS ON A FORD FLEX ALL WHEEL DRIVE. IT WAS EXCEPTIONAL IN WINTER SITH THESE TIRES. THEN I TRIED ANOTHER BRAND SUPPOSEDLY FOR ICE AND WINTER ...NO COMPARISON AS FAR AS MY EXPERIENCE. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE WHAT THESE TIRES WILL DO WITH THE HYBRID ELECTRONIC TRACTION AND STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEMS. MY EXPECTATION IS EVEN BETTER PERFORMANCE IN WINTER!

Excellent snow & ice tires

We're not supposed to but we drive these all year long on our Mazda CX-5. Lasted 44,000 KM's and worked well in all conditions, summer or winter. Could have gotten more mileage as the original set was only down to 6/32nds when we put on the new ones. Drove them through high mountain passes several times on both snow and ice with no problem. Love Blizzak. Nope, not a bot and certainly not a fake review. Live in Western Canada with lots of snow and ice for several months per year.
