Good value, but poor shipment packaging

Packaged arrived quick enough to Walmart for pick up. The straw to drink from on the bottle is tricky to "bite" on to allow suction, but does prevent leaks. Squeezing simultaneously helps. Water quality seems good. Unfortunately, the package was crushed inside a soft shipping envelope, making it difficult to determine if product may have been previously opened. The section where the filter was housed in the packaging was also unclear as to whether it may have been opened. That would not be desirable for an item meant for sterility and a fairly short (120 gallon) filter life. If I were not expecting to use it except for a short international trip happening soon, and not allowing reorder time, I would have asked to have it replaced with a clearly unopened package.
