Smooth Edge Safe Cut Can Opener - No Sharp Edges or Cuts

Admittedly, at first, I didn't like this can opener. It is different. It took opening 4 or 5 cans for me to realize how to use it properly. Now that I understand it, I LOVE it. I'll never go back to a traditional can opener. This gadget is small and takes up less room in my kitchen drawer. When opening a can, it (magically?) separates the top lip portion of the can, which creates a sort-of lid. There are no sharp edges, no weird cuts or jagged edges, etc. Also, since you don't cut down into the can, there is no mess. For new users... be patient. When you first use it, it will seem that the can is "travelling" backwards. Watch the indentation at the top of the can to know when it is "finished" opening the can. And, when it is finished, turn backwards slightly for it to release the can. Very easy, no mess. Love it.

Cuts the top off the can in a way that you can put in back on if you want. Does not leave sharp edges. The crank is nice and large making it easier to open the can. I would purchase it again.
