I enjoy a large cup of coffee, so this 20 oz size is perfect, as for volume. The width is just the right size to fit your hand inside to clean or wipe it down. This piece really does keep your brewing coffee hot/warm while the outside stays cool to the touch. And it's a nice feature to have the cover close off the cup except for a small opening you can see where it is, based on the arrow drawn on the top.

Mueller 8 cup French press

This is my first experience with a French press. I dinged it one star simply because it's more fiddly to use and a bit messy to clean afterwards, but I don't mind these issues at all—I just think some users might. I love it, the ritual of measuring and grinding beans (Dunkin' whole beans from Walmart are delicious and economical), the short wait as the beans steep, the press and finally decanting. It takes 15 minutes or a little less from boiling water to your first cup. The filters are super fine, so you must grind the beans coarsely. It's pretty and well made, and one of my favorite purchases.

I recently had a glass french press that broke. I came across this Stainless steel press and decided to try it out. I'm impressed.
