Rock Band 4 Guitar and Software Bundle - PlayStation 4

I bought this item thru Sams Club Auction. It was easy to install and start jammin'

Have been a big fan of the Rock Band series since it started on previous consoles. Glad to see the makers (Harmonix) have rebooted the franchise and moving it forward to PS4/Xbox1 systems. The first version of the game (which is what this is) is decent effort but lacks a lot of the great features that the really rounded out and made the game better. There have been updates to fix things and add features, and many have been free, but be prepared to pay some extra cash for the Rivals update which will add a couple great new features and some free songs, song sorting & new fantastic character animations, along with online play (supposed to be coming January 2017). The Rivals update will also give you access to future update in 2017, but still doe not add some things that are lacking like character customization. One reason to get this game even with some of it's faults (which hopefully will be addressed even more next year in 2017) is that you can move forward your past songs you may have purchased on your old console - this is does have some bumps own the road too as some songs have not been fixed to be moved forward (most are still songs that are now delisted to buy buy you can play if you bought them already). The guitar in this bundle is pretty good & recommend grabbing this bundle if you can get on discount with the game for under $100 - if not try checking out the new version that have a slightly better guitar from a new manufacturer which also comes with a code to download the previously mentioned Rivals update, so it should save you some $. Some early editions of this new guitar bundle also come with a bonus online offer to get a free microphone too. Overall it is fun game to play and offers big benefits, especially if you supported the series on past consoles. Just be prepared for a few hiccups as they still are trying to perfect the game and past download content (songs). NOTE: You can only move past purchased songs to Rock Band 4 (or Rock Band Rivals if you update) if you are doing it within the same console family. This means if you had a Ps3 and then bought a PS4, you can move the past purchased songs in the new game, but you are out of luck if you went from a PS3 to a XBox1.
