I got these for winter. They are roomy! I got a size larger because I want my slippers roomy and comfy….after reading reviews I felt comfortable ordering up one size. To my SURPRISE they are enormous. I should be able to double up on boot socks this winter lol. If I ordered the 8 I think the fit with one pair of heavy socks would have been a perfect fit. Now these are some kind of plasticy-vinyl. The sole is a heavier application of the same material, so going outdoors during winter they should do well. The soft ankle and lining is good enough. If I was to order again I would stay with an 8.
