I bought 3 the same night after seeing an advertisement for a similar product. Google knows I enjoy hummingbirds. Two out of three came out just fine, but the third had some cosmetic and functional defects (I didn't report it): the leading light change starts from the third light, middle, rather than from the anticipated top. Additionally, one of the wires for the 'thime' lights attachments wasn't in its expected slot but looked somewhat jammed. The unit was functioning, so I left it as is. The only improvement I made was to cover all the exposed ends of the solar battery in each of the two units (I gave one to my daughter) with saran wrap to ensure no water enters the insides. Both units worked the entire season, and one is still outdoors, lighting up every night. The charge time is not long, but it's plenty to enjoy the Color-Changing Hummingbird LED light. I left no rating for sound as I cannot tell anything about that; the wires (hanging) are wires, and the light-birds are plastic, so if it makes any noise, I do not hear it. The one that is still outdoors is right outside the kitchen window.
