Extremely easy to set up. Plug in the optical cable to the TV and the box and the USB cable to the USB port on the TV and the box. Remember to set the TV optical output setting to PCM. it allowed me to use my old PC 2.1 speaker system with my new TV by plugging in the 3.5 mm jack into the headphone input into the box. Easy peezy.. Great price.. I recommend..
