Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator

I am reviewing the Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator through the Spark Review Program. This Nerf gun is rated for ages 8+. Included with the gun is 24 “bullets”. It has 4 drums that hold the bullets. These drums rotate so you can shoot 24 bullets before needing to reload. This is crucial when fighting zombies. It has a front handle to grip the gun and you can use it in three different positions. There is some assembly required. You have to attach two of the drums which are no problem. There is a “flip-trigger” which rotates the drums. There are two different ways to fire the bullets. The first one, you move the Slide all the way back, and then move it forward. Pull the trigger to fire. Repeat. The second way to fire is called the Slam Fire. Hold the trigger down (back). Move the Slide back and forward rapidly to fire all 6 darts. Press the Flip-trigger to move the drums. I like Nerf products. They hold up well. I have Nerf products that have lasted through a number of grand kids, seasons of hard play and still work as well as when I first got them. I am looking forward to this one lasting just as long.

The Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator Blaster arrived well-packaged, with clear instructions for assembly and use, and 24 darts were included with the gun. It is wonderfully constructed, with four drums, which each hold six darts. The drums rotate, for a really neat effect and allow all 24 rounds to be shot, without the need for reloading. The pump action handle can be placed in three different positions. This is a vibrantly colored item. It is bright orange and green with black, gray, and brown. The soft-tipped darts are a super bright green, which makes them easy to locate. They tend to get a little lost in the grass, and it would have been nice if they were dual colored (maybe bright green with orange or red), so that they would show up even better. This gun takes the standard Nerf darts, so finding replacement ammo won't be inconvenient. My son is only four, and most of his cousins are quite a bit older. So when they come over, they don't have much to keep them occupied. The video games only have two controllers, so to avoid bickering, tossing the kids outside to play is ideal. The Nerf Bow and Guns are their new favorite outdoor activity.
