"Cannot Detected"

I bought this bundle and tired all three of the black cartridges and none of them worked. I kept getting the same error message "Cannot Detect." I went online to LDProducts.com and went through the F.A.Q.s but nothing resolved the issue. I called technical support and installed the fresh third cartridge with the tech on the phone. He couldn't get it to work either. He recommended I return them. He emailed me a prepaid shipping label. He was nice enough but the fact remains the LC207 cartridges don't work in the Brother MFC-J4620 printers. I might mention that there appears to be a design difference when you compare the genuine Brother cartridge to the LD cartridge. The Brother cartridge has a plastic pin protruding from an opening in the top portion of the cartridge. The LD cartridge has the same opening minus the fore mentioned pin. I suspect this pin has something to do with the printer detecting a genuine cartridge. Although I have not tried the color cartridges they too lack the plastic pin. Another point of co.ncern is the branding of the cartridges. I have purchased and successfully installed LD branded cartridges before in another model of Brother printer. They came in white packaging (not plain white boxes) with the LD branding clearly and colorfully visible. The cartridges themselves also clearly displayed the LD branding; not so with this order, red boxes, model number only (BLC207 BK) on the cartridges and no LD logos anywhere.
