Very comfy. Has an elastic drawstring with stop to snug it against your face rather than just relying on friction to hold it up over your nose. The sides extend a bit to help cover the ears without having to hike up the gaiter further. With the gaiter positioned to have the ear parts cover the ears, the drawstring exits out the back. Don't know who put together the drawstring, but it was in knots, and the stop just slid off. I untied the knot at the end of the drawstring, fed it through the stop (a pushbutton spring-loaded cord grabber), and tied the knot at the end which keeps the stop from sliding off, especially since using it will be behind your head where you adjust the drawstring by feel. Even with it pulled up over my nose and up onto my ears, the length is a bit long for my neck, so it bunches up, but that doesn't detract from its usefulness. The fleece material is smooth. No scratchiness. Snug to pull over my adult head, but right-sized for my neck and from the back of my head to the front of my face. This will be handier than using a scarf to protect my neck, and my face by pulling it up, on those windy brutally cold days. I'm hoping to use it with my beanie cap with ear flaps and brim when snowblowing for when the blown snow comes back into my face. I have a pull-over ski mask, but that can be a bit too much. Overly warm when working means sweating. Letting me decide how much of my face to cover lets me regulate the loss rate of heat.
