Z-MENT Adhesive Mortar is designed for all Z-BRICK and Z-STONE applications, offering a reliable solution for both interior and exterior projects. This 1 gal, white, acrylic-based adhesive mortar contains added non-asbestos fibers to provide the body and texture of traditional cement mortar, while remaining water-based for easy cleanup from tools and skin when still moist. Once dry, Z-MENT becomes permanent and insoluble in water, ensuring weatherproof performance. Its unique formulation maintains enough elasticity to accommodate seasonal changes, helping to prevent cracking that can occur with standard mortars. Z-MENT adheres to a variety of common building materials, including drywall, cement board, poured concrete, concrete block, fiberboard, and exterior-grade plywood, though plaster is not recommended. For outdoor installations, protect the project from rain for three days before and after applying Z-BRICK products, then seal with two coats of Z-SEALER for optimal waterproofing and weatherproofing.
