Use this Mefix dressing retention tape to easily secure your gauze, dressings, catheters and cannulae. It's stretchable and nonabsorbent, making it adjustable enough to adhere to almost any area of the body, including flexible areas such as the neck, knees and elbows. While breathable, the white, nonsterile, nonwoven fabric in this Mefix dressing tape prevents seepage of blood or bodily fluids. In addition, it has better coverage with less waste because of the pre-measured release paper for convenient measuring and cutting. This skin-friendly adhesive Mefix medical tape is water-based and solvent-free, meaning there's no need to sacrifice comfort for security. Simply cut the 4-inch by 11-yard dressing tape into the desired shape and size. Peel away the perforated backing and apply. To make sure that this nonwoven white dressing tape doesn't tear, avoid tension while putting it on, especially when applying it to joints.

The mefix nonwoven dressing tape
The mefix nonwoven dressing tape is the best I have used. It's gentle on the skin, but holds the dressing in place. I highly recommend.

Mefix skin friendly dressing
I think the tape works quite well. I also use hypafix tape and the medic works as well. Easy to put on and take off without pulling to much on the skin.
