Good quality and made in USA

On the package - SeaDogLine Deluxe Power Socket with Plug and Cap. USA 426116-1 UPC 035514427708 requires 1-1/8" hole Sea-Dog Line Everett, WA 98206 In the package: Standard 12V plug, 4" long with internal fuse and strain relief rubber end. 12V socket with "Sea-Dog Max 24V USA" stamped on it. Socket has +/- tabs 1/4" wide on the rear which can be soldered or used with a female spade wiring connector. This is a quality product from a US manufacturer. The construction is clear (no burrs or gouges in the plastic) and the threads appear deep enough to allow for a firm assembly. The outer flange only allows for about 3/16th of an inch around the hole, so be careful to use a drill bit that will give you the recommended 1-1/8" hole size - you don't have much wiggle room. Same thing with the nut, washers could be used if needed. The socket will fit a panel up to about 1" thick, if you do use washers they will obviously cut into that depth. The rubber cap has a nice tab to open the socket cover with, and it can be replaced if you accidentally tear it off (it's held on with a rubber ring under the forward flange). I've purchased other SeaDog 12V products and have been happy with all of them. Good quality and made in the US.
