Great cooking tool!

Great pot, I actually have the 7qt. The 7qt size wasn't an option when I registered this so I selected the 12qt. Love the color, heat retention, enameling, it's so easy to clean. However, being 7qt & cast iron, it is a bit heavy. But great trade off based on the way it cooks.

I like the size of this 12 quart Cuisinart pot. It is well made and should last for many years. I love the red color of the pot! It is great size for cooking soups, stews, and chowders. The first time I used it was to cook a big pot of chili and it worked great. The chili appeared to heat evenly while using the pot. It is easy to clean.

I always trust the name Cuisinart and associate it with quality cookware, so when I went shopping for a large stockpot, Cuisinart was the logical choice as I have bought them before and they are fantastic. I LOVE this stockpot. It has a nice weight which gives evenly distributed heat. It's super easy to clean, nothing sticks. I have cooked briskets, chili, stews, soups, chicken & dumplings just to name a few and everything cooked beautifully. Thanks Cuisinart!
