Bed is not as big as it looks. other then being not as big as it looks I see nothing wrong with it. A small dog would be appropriate for this bed not a big dog.

Inferior Quality Conflicting Description
The touted medical-caliber foam is exaggerative; I've used shipping foam that was sturdier. I have similar beds I purchased a decade ago at half the price from another major warehouse discount store that are four times better than these. The color was pleasing but that's about it. I looked at the specifications which said they're 5.50 H & took a chance, but the 3 H is accurate. I bought the Jumbo for a dog close to 100 lbs the size was fine but the thickness is no where near adequate for a big dog.
