Vionic Womens Tranquil Nylon Faux Fur Lined Loafer Slippers

I bought these for myself as a birthday treat! I've been wearing them for a couple of months and I'm still obsessed. I had to exchange for a half a size up. Even with that there is the tiniest bit of compression which I love. They are so comfy and supportive. I would definitely buy these again when they wear out (which I'm guessing I'll get at least a couple years out of them!) The sole is great too it keeps me from falling down my wooden stairs which I have unfortunately done several times haha. If you are someone who has 'thick' ankles these may not work for you as the top part comes up to meet the front of my fairly narrow ankles but I think that placement helps keep my heels from slipping out so I love it.

I decided to splurge on a quality pair of slippers/house shoes after getting a new job that's 100% remote. I wanted something that covered my whole foot since I'm always cold and my office is in the basement and I pronate when I walk so I wanted a bit of ankle support. I'm happy to report that not only are my feet comfortably warm but they also have yet to break a sweat (which frequently happens in my cheap slippers). They do get stuffy and overheated if I'm running around the house however. You're probably better off with slides if that's what you do all day. They're also very sturdy and have some arch support but I have narrow feet and high arches so they may fit someone with medium width even better. If you have wide ankles/feet these may not fit you.
