Only dislike is that it is light weight plastic and very 'flimsy' compared to one I purchased in a Walmart Storm some time back. And, it does not have a 'bottom'. So sitting it on my stomach while laying down, blocks the fans. But, for a desk top setting...Its good enough, and fans generate strong circulation...

Great Product!

I purchased this item because my MacBook was overheating more often than usual; getting hot and the fan was kicking on. Someone told me to get a cooling pad, and the Aluratek Slim looked like a good choice; reasonably price and thin enough to fit in my carry case along with my Mac. It works great! I just plug the USB into the Mac and the fans work to cool it down. The pad adds a little height when I use on my desk and is comfortable to use on my lap if I'm sitting on the sofa. I definitely recommend.
