I am not a professional bar tender, but I do have a home bar and I love mixing my own drinks, and this is a great way to do it. This shaker is not only pretty but very practical as well. I use it sometimes as a regular tumbler in my car. It fits in my cup holder just fine. I would definitely recommend.

This “For Love Of Home” Power Luxury Cocktail Shaker is a beautiful addition to a bar cart or even just your kitchen counter. I got the stainless steel model with reflective black finish, which I think looks the most-classy by far. It comes in three pieces, just add your ingredients, twist on the middle cap and the topmost bottle cap before shaking. I made the mistake of not twisting the middle cap quite right and encountered some leakage, but I discovered this was just new user error. Provided you seal it properly, it works great! After shaking, just remove the top bottle cap and pour your drink through the ice filtering layer. This works well for martinis, or if you want to make a mojito with the lime wedges and mint strained out at the end, this product is sturdy enough to muddle your mint and limes in so you don't risk breaking a glass in the process. Then just add ice and white rum before straining it out – just don't add soda water before you shake it.
