12OZ True BLU GLS Paint

I have bought numerous Kylon products over the years and have been up until this point ,been impressed to say the least with their products. However, I recently purchased this product in semi-gloss black and had to strip and re-prepare the metal projects I applied it on. I have been painting cars and performing numerous automotive and motorcycle restorations for years so its not like I haven't spent my time around a gun or a rattle can before. No matter what I did with this product, IT WOULD NOT DRY!!! It stayed tacky for days and once somewhat dry, even rubbed off when you touched it. I tried numerous automotive prep tricks the first time and even went as far as purchasing 4 more cans thinking maybe it was just a bad can. All I am left with is two unfinished small projects that are now in desperate need of refinishing due to a poor product. I am not one to normally complain but considering the amount of time and prep that goes into making a finished produce "shine" (no pun intended") I am and will not recommend this product to anyone attempting to refinish or improve the littlest of projects. It will just cause you more work to finish something you probably didn't want to do in the first place.

I hate this paint, I bought it thinking Super Maxx meant it would coat well and have decent cover properties. It takes several coats to look even half decent. I wondered if it was just the surface I was painting on, however it's the same for every thing I've used it for, wood, metal, plastic. To be labeled "SUPERMAXX" it should probably be at least marginally better than the cheapest paint, but this wasn't. I'm sorely disappointed.
