Great pair of rods!

Bought these to replace a pair of Dobbins rods that have delicate tips. I like the cork grips and the contour plastic/rubber knob between the upper cork bit and the reel seat. This provides a comfortable meld between the rod and hand when walking the dog with topwater lures. Definitely a step up from the Squadron series.

Excellent replacement for Penn Legion series rods

I bought a pair of the BATIN612S66 rods to replace the long discontinued Legion series. They are just as good and works very well flipping live baits next to the mangroves catching snook and redfish. Excellent when paired with Penn Fierce 3000 series reels.

I have used these rods for a long time and if you are looking for a rod with backbone and will hold up in any situation for fishing, buy this one.
