THIS IS A GREAT ANTENNA

I live about 46 miles away from two television towers in different directions. I bought 100 feet of coax that said it is shielded specifically for HDTV (not sure if it really is) from Lowe's, used 2 sections of galvanized conduit and a piece to join them together, used zip ties to secure the coax to the pole and strapped it to the side of my house. If you forget about the weak channels and Spanish channels, I have 21 channels from the two towers that include ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, a movie channel and several other networks that I never even heard of before. THIS IS A GREAT ANTENNA!!! (And yes, the amp is plugged into the back of the TV with the 100 feet of coax between it and the antenna.)

LAVA 2605 HDTV antenna...It Works!

This antenna works. (period) UHF TV is line of site ,and if you raise this antenna up 25 feet+ above ground (in flat Palm Coast Florida), you should easily receive the Orlando and Jacksonville markets (65+ and 55+ miles).Gainesville , Fl. is also common at 70 miles. More is possible with unobstructed and higher mounting of course. There are scores (I counted 70+ ,some Hispanic) of stations obtainable . All major networks, PBS,Fox, Univision, and independents. My antenna uses 80 feet of good quality RG-6 coax (avoid major bends if possible in the cable). When you consider the fact that comparable antenna systems (using rotor ,more size and preamps) will work but at much more cost, you cannot beat this system. Small profile, rotatable,inexpensive.....get rid of thieving cable companies and put the money towards your kids education! No, I do not work for LAVA either. (I have been a ham operator 50+ years and service aircraft avionics, so I have a solid background in RF electronics). Enjoy, and Get one...Stop the Direct TV and Cable monopolies!

More with less

Hooked it up to the same pole my outside antenna was mounted. Connected the amplifier to the TV, turned it on and walla, channel reception went from 13 to 60+. Some are duplicate from other cities but this antenna works great. Good by cable.
