I would not recommend these blinds.

I was pleased when I first bought twelve of these blinds ten months ago. They looked nice. It's only my husband and I living here and we are gentle whenever we raise or lower them. That did not stop the string from breaking. We were extremely careful after the first one broke, then two more broke. The string is too flimsy.
