This has been around for years. I remember my mother having it in the medicine cabinet. It doesn't taste very good but it works good on cold sores! It also works very well for insect bites, it stops the itching.

Amazingly, I couldn't find this product in any of the major drugstores, but Walmart had it fortunately! Use it for cold sores but also if my ear lob where a pierced earring goes through gets a little irritated, I dab a bit on the tip of the earring for a day or two and it seems to help.
