A Canticle for Leibowitz, (Paperback)

On the downside, the story arc is predictable and not too compelling. Perhaps at the time the novel was written the subject was more relevant. On the plus side, the writing is very good. Especially the dialogue and nuances of the relationship of the characters with regard to their political/religious beliefs.
