manual washer

just purchased this. So convenient and environmentally friendly and inexpensive I can't imagine going back to an electric washer. Just put in 6 cups of water, a tablespoon of detergent, and your item(s) of clothes; crank for a minute, rinse the same way or by hand, and you're done. It sits on the counter next to my bathroom sink. It will take larger loads but probably is more effiicient with smaller loads. FASTER than an electric washer. Use a clothesline and you've eliminated all electricity use.

The jury is still out on this one but at least they have clean clothes, The bottom leaks a little when under pressure but no big deal, clothes still come out clean
