Great for moving standing water.

I needed to get additional discharge "pipe", just cheap plastic hose. keep the electric plugs out of the water... Works Great! Small lakes form in yard due to seasonal rain, and will last for months if I don't drain them. Pump will get all but the last few inches but nature takes care of that if the rains give us a break.

Emergency pump

Worked great to bail the sump on our Pondless Water feature. There was roughly 500 gallons to pump out of the sump of last years water and winter snow melt. Pumped the sump down to about 1/2 inch of the bottom and that was it. I was able then to remove some of the stones that had fallen in over the past 2 years from the sump and reinstall the water feature pumps.
